Easy Peasy

Variable oystercatcher (Haematopus unicolor) sunning on the inviting beaches of Golden Bay, top of the south, New Zealand. This handsome shorebird would kept its left leg tucked and hop forward a few steps if I crept a tiny bit too close, then cast a glance over its shoulder before going back to snoozing. Canon 50D, f13, 1/400, focal length 400mm, ISO400.
